Maroon 5 to Perform at Super Bowl Halftime Show With Big Boi and Travis Scott Welcome to Atlanta, Maroon 5. The NFL announced the pop group as the
Super Bowl Halftime Show headliner on Sunday. Maroon 5 will be joined by Atlanta-based rapper and member of Outkast, Big Boi, and Travis Scott. Several artists turned down the Halftime Show
this year in support of Colin Kaepernick. The former San Francisco 49ers QB and
other players have taken a knee during the national anthem in protest of racial injustice. According to 'Billboard,' Travis Scott only agreed to perform if the NFL made a donation to a charity of his choice. Scott partnered with the NFL to donate $500,000 to Van Jones' Dream Corps, an organization that fights social injustice. Super Bowl LIII will be broadcast by CBS at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Feb. 3.
