Adam Gase to Become New
Head Coach of the New York Jets He takes over for Todd Bowles, who was fired after the Jets ended the year 4-12. Gase spent the last three seasons as head coach of the Miami Dolphins before being fired in December. He led the Dolphins to a playoff appearance in his first season, but Miami struggled over the next two. Gase will be expected to turn around the Jets, but most importantly help young QB Sam Darnold. His past experience working with
NFL quarterbacks is said to be why
the Jets chose him over other candidates, including former Green Bay Packers
coach Mike McCarthy.
