Signals from the camshaft sensor tell about the proper engine timing by checking the fuel pressure systems and the exhaust and sending the information to the ECM to properly time the engine performance. If the Camshaft is not in the proper position relative to the crankshaft, the PCM will set code P002B.
What causes this problem with the Camshaft Profile Circuit Control?
Lack of Engine Oil consistency and level maintenance Use of incorrect and/or contaminated engine oil Defective/Damaged Oil Solenoid Faulty Camshaft/Crankshaft Sensor and wirings of the sensor
Replace/Repair These Parts to Fix OBD Code P002B
Fuel Pressure Regulator - P002B error code may also flash due to irregular fuel pressure which in turn hampers the engine’s performance. Replace the fuel pressure regulator now. Fuel Pump - A leaky and/or damaged fuel pump will not be able to supply proper fuel to the engine resulting in engine stalling and sometimes not starting. Immediate replacement of damaged fuel pump is advisable.
