DC/Warners "Aquaman" is already a massive hit. Business Insider reports the film made $9 million in Thursday night previews. It has made a total of $13.7 million in preview screenings in the US. Those numbers are on par with the Thursday previews of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and "Doctor Strange." The opening is just slightly behind "Venom" and "Wonder Woman." "Aquaman" will get a boost from the five-day holiday weekend. It looks to lead the competition of "Mary Poppins Returns" and "Bumblebee.
