TV Snubs and Surprises From the Golden Globes Nominations Some major snubs hit the best TV Drama category. The Handmaids Tale on Hulu and HBO's Westworld were both given a pass this year. Donald Glover's Atlanta was snubbed in the best comedy series category. In the best actor in a drama category, This Is Us was locked out. Robin Wright didn't receive a nod for her performance in the final season of House of Cards. Actors passed over for the comedy series category included Ted Danson for The Good Place. Sacha Baron Cohen surprised with his nomination for best actor in a comedy series for his show, This Is America. Other surprises included 'Bodyguard' in the best drama category and Candice Bergen for the 'Murphy Brow' reboot. The 76th Golden Globes Awards air on NBC January 6.
