Kadalekai Parishe at Basavanagudi is one of the cultural annual event of Bangalore. This time the event is running in the absence of late Ananth Kumar who died recently and many people recalled his contribution during inauguration of the event.
ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷದ ಆರಂಭದ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಅದಮ್ಯ ಚೇತನ ಉತ್ಸವ, ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಜಯಂತಿ, ಬಸವನಗುಡಿಯ ಕಡಲೆಕಾಯಿ ಪರಿಷೆ, ಹೀಗೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಹಲವಾರು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಉತ್ಸವಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ಬೆನ್ನೆಲುಬಿನಂತೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ದಿ. ಅನಂತ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಅನುಪಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಕಡಲೆಕಾಯಿ ಪರಿಷೆ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಗೆ ಬಂದ ಬಹುತೇಕರನ್ನುಕಾಡಿತು.
