FSC, ruling party to unveil measures to cut card transaction fees, reduce burden on small businesses

The South Korean government and the ruling Democratic Party are set to discuss measures to reduce credit card transaction fees to reduce the financial burden on small-scale business owners.
Monday's meeting will be attended by Chairman of Financial Services Commission and the floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea,... following which specific measures will be announced.
Last week, President Moon Jae-in has instructed the financial watchdog to provide incentives for small business owners including a cut in card fees and improved financial support.
