According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, Spanish reservations over Gibraltar prevented the European Union from clearing the last hurtle before the bloc signs off its Brexit deal with Britain, as Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said a summit on Sunday could be cancelled. With just four months remaining before Britain is scheduled to leave the EU, Sanchez said that he had yet to receive assurances that any future decisions on Gibraltar would be decided in direct talks with Madrid.
