Mail Bomb Suspect Will Not File Bail Application

According to Reuters, the man accused of mailing over a dozen parcel bombs to critics of President Donald Trump will be held without bail.
Cesar Sayoc agreed to be transferred from Florida to New York state last week, ahead of his scheduled appearance at a federal courthouse in Manhattan.
The 56-year-old was arrested in Fort Lauderdale on Oct. 26th.
Sayoc faces five federal charges, which carry a maximum sentence of 48 years in prison.
During a hearing, Sayoc’s attorney told US Magistrate Judge Robert Lehrburger that they will not file a bail application.
