According to Business Insider, Venezuela wants to retrieve gold that is being held at the Bank of England. The Venezuelan government has a gold reserve at England's central bank worth more than $500 million. But repatriating the 15 tons of gold bullion has been problematic for Venezuelan authorities. A report from Reuters said that England's central bank sought to clarify what will be done with the gold, after Venezuelan authorities approached them about repatriating their reserves.
