The Buick Regal is undoubtedly an upscale mid-sized automobile that has been first designed by Buick for that 1973 model year. North American production led to 2004 and began again this year. For the 2011 model year, Buick re-introduced the Regal on the North American market, positioned just as one upscale sports sedan. Production and purchases in China have continued since 1999. For certain model years between 1973 and 2004, the Regal shared bodies and powertrains together with the similar Buick Century. The two most recent generations (2011–present) are North American market versions from the Opel Insignia, the Vauxhall Insignia in the UK.
