Growing Number of Children Aren't Vaccinated The number of children who aren't being vaccinated by 24-months-old in the U.S. has been gradually increasing, Roughly 100,000 children have not had vaccinations against any of the 14 diseases for which shots are recommended. Dr. Amanda Cohn, of the CDC, via CBS News The latest numbers come from a 2017 telephone survey of the parents of about 15,000 toddlers, Uninsured and Medicaid-insured children were less likely to be vaccinated.
