Quanzhou is a city full of delicious food. Given Quanzhou's location on the sea, seafood takes up a large part on menus. Shihua pudding is a dessert unique to Quanzhou. It is made from a type of seaweed called Shihuacao, which literally translates to stone flower grass and grows on rocks and seashells by the ocean.
