www.EmploymentCrossing.com Campbell soup company announced that it plans to invest in it’s Maxton, NC manufacturing facility by adding state of the art soup production equipment. The multi-million dollar investment will allow Campbell to produce ready to serve soups and broths packaged in cartons. The expansion will increase the size of the facility by 4000 square feet and they expect to employ 50 new full time jobs in Maxton over a 3 year period. The One North Carolina Fund, which provides financial assistance to attract business projects that stimulate the economy gave $150,000 to Campbells. The project will begin in September 2008 and should be completed in the summer of 2009.
