Pilgrim’s Pride is preparing to reduce its workforce by a widely-reported 505 jobs in order to restructure its debt in the face of declining revenues.
Ray Atkinson, director of Corporate Communications for Pilgrims Pride, said that the second shift processing operations will be eliminated at its Live Oak plant in Florida between February 17th and March 29th.
