As the story continues a great tragedy befalls Ikenga the great warrior whom has wrestled with man and spirits. He returns home from a wrestling contest and finds his whole family wiped out from as a result of scorpion sting. Ikenga totally and absolutely lost the will to live and the courage to wrestle.
