These are the types of people who become super rich, according to a report called the Rich Habits Study. 233 millionaires were interviewed over a span of four years — 177 of them were self-made and 56 inherited their immense amount of money. Out of the self-made millionaires, 105 came from middle-class families and 72 came from poor families. They were asked a ton of questions about things like their habits, their thinking, and their careers — here is what was gleaned. Of the savers, none of them had debt. They had a low standard of living and made a modest income. Savers saved 20% or more of their income for many years. 22% of the people interviewed were “saver-investors.” It took them 32 years to save an average of $3.4 million. 27% of rich people studied were “virtuosos.” They are considered the best at what they do and they typically work for big public corporations or they were successful entrepreneurs. It took 20 years for virtuosos to collect an average of $4 million. According to the study, “dreamers” were the richest. 51% of dreamers had big dreams that soon turned profitable. In 12 years, they accumulated an average of $3.4 million.
