Etra reports that Matt Damon was a surprise guest on the season opener of "SNL." Damon played the Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in the opening sketch of the episode. Damon played him as hot under the collar, emotional, and more than a little fond of the brewskis. In the skit, Cecily Strong and Alex Moffat portrayed Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Sen. Chuck Grassley as crotchety. "SNL" alum Rachel Dratch returned as Sen. Amy Klobuchar.
