Breathtaking footage of the Northern Lights seen in Iceland.
The clip, filmed September 27, shows a stunning time-lapse of the natural lights in Djupivogur, Eastern Iceland.
“I am currently touring Iceland to see the northern lights, it was a long drive to find clear skies before the incoming storm, it was a nice aurora for day one,” said the filmer Olivier Staiger.
The phenomenon occurs when electrically charged particles from the sun interact with gasses in the earth's atmosphere, producing the famous greenish glow.
