Zhang Xiaocong, born in late 1980s, is a promising entrepreneur in the creative industry in China. A few years ago, he gathered a group of like-minded souls and established Paper Maker, China's first brand specializing in creative furniture made from recycled paper. Zhang Xiaocong was previously an interior designer, until 2012, when everything changed. By chance he came across paper furniture. He was impressed by the versatility of the product; there were so many different designs and
structures, what was previously seen as flimsy cardboard could be made into innovative furniture and art, so he and his team decided to blaze a new trail of furniture production, with his expertise at the forefront.
