One dead, 312 injured during protests on Gaza Strip border

One Palestinian was allegedly killed and at least 312 wounded as thousands protest on the Gaza Strip on Friday.

The man who was killed was 25-year-old Karim Mohamed Kallab, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.

Protesters were challenging the Israeli-imposed 11-year blockade of Gaza. Israeli forces fired live rounds and tear gas .

Palestinians also sent fire balloons and kites into Israel, reported The Times of Israel, stating that they caused at least seven fires along the border.
