OMB Peezy talks moving to California and working with Cardo

A close listen to OMB Peezy's catalog will reveal a geographical rap thread. The Mobile, Alabama native moved across the country to Sacramento, California as a kid, and his music is a masterful combination of influences from the two regions.
Around this time last year, Peezy released his breakout track "Lay Down," leading to a joint deal with E-40's Sick Wid It Records and 300 Entertainment. His rise has culminated in the release of his debut project Humble Beginnings, a collaborative EP with Cardo Got Wings. During a recent visit to The FADER.
