Waves crashed against homes in the village of Shek O, Hong Kong, on Sunday, September 16, after Typhoon Mangkhut struck the region.Mangkhut, reported to be the biggest storm in the world so far in 2018, hit Hong Kong and southern China on Sunday afternoon, after leaving a trail of destruction in the Philippines.The Hong Kong Observatory issued a typhoon warning signal number 10 on Sunday, but subsequently downgraded this to signal three as the winds settled on Monday.
