Hurricane Florence Ups Emergency Relief Efforts

Hurricane Florence has arrived to the Carolina with predictions of 50 inches of rain and 80 mph winds. The National Hurricane Center warned of “catastrophic” flooding and “life-threatening” storm surges. According to Business Insider, 1.7 million people have so far had to evacuate their homes. There have already been floods as deep as 6.3 feet and wind as fast as 105 mph. Emergency relief efforts are doing everything they can from monetary donations to volunteers.
