Mötley Crüe to Reunite for Four New Songs Three years after an epic farewell tour, legendary band Mötley Crüe is reuniting in the studio. The announcement was made by
Crüe frontman Vince Neil in a
Twitter post. According to Neil, the group is coming back together to record four new tracks. Bassist Nikki Sixx revealed the songs are for the soundtrack of a film adaptation of Mötley Crüe's memoir,
'The Dirt: Confessions Of The World’s Most Notorious Rock Band.' Sixx goes on to assure fans that the new music will fit in perfectly with the movie. The film, which does not yet have a release date, will premiere on Netflix. Mötley Crüe last performed together at the last date of their final tour on
New Year’s Eve 2015.
