Ex-cop Goes To Prison For Shooting Unarmed Teen
  • 6 years ago
CNN reports a police officer was sentenced to 15 years in prison this week for shooting an unarmed teen in Dallas.

Former officer Roy Oliver also owed a fine of $10,000.

Oliver was convicted of the murder of 15 year old Jordan Edwards.

Oliver fired into a car full of teens, saying it was "moving aggressively toward his partner."

Few police officers end up going to trial in shooting deaths, and less are convicted.
