The Kia Soul is usually a front-engine, front-wheel-drive, five-door subcompact crossover (Mini MPV) manufactured and marketed worldwide by Kia and today in its second generation. Designed at Kia's design center in California, the Soul debuted on the 2008 Paris Motor Show and is particularly manufactured in South Korea. Since 2014, Kia has marketed an electric powered variant as being the Soul EV in North and Central America and also Europe.
