Fishermen free whale shark trapped in fishing net

Fishermen freed an endangered whale shark trapped in a fishing net in eastern China on Monday.

The clip, shot in Yantai City in Shandong Province, shows a fisherman using a stick to help release the enormous fish.

After more than two hours, they managed to free the creature and it swam away unharmed.

The whale shark is the world's largest fish.
