Supporters of Brazil’s former President Lula da Silva in jail protest in front of the electoral court in Sao Paulo to show their support to his candidacy to the country’s election on October 7.

The clip, captured on August 15, shows protesters wearing Lula masks and carrying signs calling him a political prisoner.

Lula, 72, was convicted of taking an apartment as a bribe from a big construction company. He has been in jail since April but leads electoral polls that include his name.
