'The Meg' Boasts Impressive
$45.3M Box Office Debut Warner Bros.' new shark thriller,
The Meg, recently opened in
4,118 North American locations. The $130 million-budget film raked
in $45.3 million, which was enough to
knock Mission: Impossible - Fallout
from its number one spot. The film has brought in
$96.8 million so far internationally. The Meg has been Warner Bros.
best opener so far this year, ahead
of Ready Player One ($41.7 million)
