Incredible video shows small spotter plane guiding huge air tanker in Holy Fire air attack

An incredible video shows a small spotter plane guiding a huge air tanker in an air attack against the Holy Fire near Lake Elsinore, California, on August 7.

In the video, a tiny spotter plane can be seen coming from the right side of the screen.

As it flies over the smoke and flames, it leaves a trail of white smoke to guide the air tanker flying behind it.

The air tanker then drops red fire retardant in the same area where the spotter plane left a trail of white smoke.

The Holy Fire has burned at least 4,000 acres in the Cleveland National Forest in Southern California, according to media reports.
