The Jets signed rookie QB Sam Darnold to a four-year, $30.2 million deal including a $20 million signing bonus. Darnold was the third overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and is expecting to compete for the starting job with Josh McCown and Teddy Bridgewater.
