According to Digital Trends, LG Electronics USA’ has launched a new line of window air conditioning units that has scored the first 2018 EPA Energy Star Emerging Technology Award. The new AC units have increased energy efficiency due to their dual inverter compressors. LG’s new room air conditioners also cut CO2 emissions, run quietly, and can respond respond to owner commands through a smartphone app, voice assistants, or a handheld remote.
