At this bizarre restaurant in Tokyo, Japan they hand you a rod and bait and encourage you to catch your own fish.

Patrons at Zauo restaurant in Tokyo catch their meal from one of several huge tanks filled with different species.

Once they've hooked their supper, an employee helps them to haul in their catch with a net.

Now, the lucky angler just has to decide how they'd like their fish cooked - tempura, sushi or fried.

According to the Zauo's Facebook page, they are planning to open a similar restaurant next year in New York.
