After Apparent Overdose Singer Demi Lovato was hospitalized on Tuesday for an apparent drug overdose, as previously reported to CNN by a source close to Lovato. Lovato is now awake and with family, who have expressed gratitude for everyone's "love, prayers and support." Lovato's representative, in a statement, via CNN On Wednesday, a source close to Lovato denied reports that the singer had been treated for a heroin overdose. In March, the 25-year-old claimed to be celebrating six years of sobriety. Lovato's hospitalization, however, came just weeks after the singer had revealed a recent issue with relapsing through her single, "Sober." Lyrics ins Lovato's song, "Sober" Lovato's next scheduled performance for Thursday in Atlantic City, New Jersey, has been canceled, according to a spokesperson from Live Nation.
