Video of Children Cliff-Diving in Ireland Sparks Warning From Officials

A video circulating on Facebook showing children jumping from coastal cliffs in Kilkee, Ireland, prompted county officials to issue a warning and appeal to parents to discuss the dangers of cliff-jumping to their children, according to local media.Chris McKiernan shared the footage on Facebook page showing what appears to be a boy jumping from the cliff and landing in the sea. “Kids jumping from the top of a cliff on the cliff walk this afternoon, is this something that’s always gone on,” McKiernan asked.Clare County Council discouraged people from performing the stunt. “This is extremely dangerous and could have life altering repercussions,” the council said in a Facebook post.
