New footage showed the devastating aftermath of the July 16 lava bomb incident in Hawaii that injured 23 people on a tour boat.
The video is divided into three parts while the voice of a scientist with the U.S. Geological Survey Hawaiian Volcanoes Observatory can be heard discussing the lava bomb incident throughout the clip.
Mila Zinkova filmed the first part (00:00-00:57) on board a different tour boat on July 14. She filmed the boat that would eventually get hit by a lava bomb on July 16, which can be seen near the lava in this part of the clip.
In the second part (00:58-04:30), Zinkova captured the devastating aftermath of the July 16 lava bomb incident. Passengers with injuries can be seen, along with some blood on a white sheet.
The roof of the tour boat is damaged and parts of the boat are covered in black ash.
In the third part (04:31-05:24), the damaged boat is seen on land on July 17.
