Is Your Cellphone Giving You Cancer? With 5G networks on the horizon, it's a good time to learn the effects of
radio-frequency radiation. In 2011, the World Health Organization declared that cellphones are a “Class 2B carcinogen,” but nickel alloy, aloe vera extract and diesel fuel also share that distinction. Non-ionizing radio-frequency is the specific type of radiation associated
with cellphones. Cellphones emit this frequency 24/7, as they constantly communicate with 4G networks. New studies have made a correlation between non-ionizing radio-frequency and tumor growth in rats. These tests have yet to be extrapolated
to humans. More research is needed before we will fully understand the effects of exposure.
