New York City Subway Attack: Panhandler Breaks Man's Skull With Metal Pipe

Police in New York are appealing for information to help find a man seen attacking a 59-year-old with a metal pipe after getting into an argument on the subway.The victim was left with a fractured skull and a broken eye following the incident at around 9:15 p.m. Saturday night (July 7), on the southbound no.2 train at Chambers Street station. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74682).The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at  WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM  or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
