They look more like Muppets now, but this trio of adorable tieke chicks are the only known hand-reared chicks of their kind.Also known as saddlebacks, the Auckland Zoo says the breed is in recovery after conservation efforts for the native bird were successful.This video shows a keeper at the zoo hand feeding the chicks rat pups and papaya.
