Fourth Arrest Made in Canberra in Relation to Sydney Boys' Home Abuse

ACT Police on June 27 arrested an 81-year-old man in relation to the child sexual abuse at a western Sydney boys’ home between 1965 and 1985.The man was charged with 11 counts of indecent assault on a male and four counts of buggery. He was refused bail and would face the ACT Magistrates Court on June 28, when police would seek his extradition from Canberra.The arrest was the fourth this year regarding the abuse at Daruk Training School at Berkshire Park, The Canberra Times reported.
