Dog Bobs in Texas Floodwater Before Rescue

Flooding inundated Weslaco, Texas, on Wednesday, June 20. Firefighters performed dozens of water rescues, including those stranded in vehicles, a news report said. Some vehicles were stuck on the expressway.Nearly 15 inches of rain fell over a 72-hour period, setting a new rainfall record, a news report said.News reports said dogs chained in backyards needed to be rescued. This video shows one dog similarly chained up in the water and was in need of a rescue on Wednesday. The uploader said he helped free the dog.
