Australian tourist, 21, stabbed in Thai nightclub

A young Australian man was rushed to hospital in the early hours of the morning after being stabbed inside a nightclub.
Jaydon Sienkiewicz, 21, had been drinking with ten other friends and relatives inside a bar in Pattaya, Thailand, when he left to go to the toilet at 4am.
But the holidaymaker had an argument with other revellers, who plunged a knife into his stomach.
The lad's father, who was among the group of tourists, was horrified when he saw him staggering back to their table covered in blood.
Police and paramedics arrived at the Mixx Discotheque on the Walking Street area and rushed Sienkiewicz to hospital where he is currently being treated for the stab wound. He is in a stable condition.
The lad's father's girlfriend Song Narong, 33, said: ''I came to this pub with 10 other people, friends and relatives. His father is Australian.
''We were having fun eating together. But the young boy said he had to go to the bathroom.
''He came back and he was injured. We could see blood on his shirt and he said he had been stabbed. Everybody was panicking and we tried to get him to the hospital quickly.''
Police Lieutenant Sombat Kaewmumpung, deputy police inspector of Pattaya City Police, said officers received an emergency call at around 4.30am.
He said: ''Police are checking CCTV to find the motive for the attack. We will speak to the wounded tourist when he is in a suitable condition.
''From the initial investigation, we found that the knife had been inserted into the right side of his abdomen. We are interviewing witnesses to find the cause of the incident."
