A Wallace and Gromit-style machine has been hailed as the world's quickest pancake maker - and can whip up the seasonal snack in one MINUTE. The 'Pancake-omatic' contraption took 300 hours to construct and sees a freshly-laid egg set in motion a chain reaction that makes a perfect pancake in just sixty seconds. It starts with a hen on a throne laying an egg which rolls down a ramp - pushing a wooden spoon that winds up a gramophone. The music starts and the egg is dropped onto the spinning record, then swung around, picked up by three 'suckers' and cracked - by a hatchet.
