Hundreds of Japanese koi carp were accidentally poured onto a university campus lawn in eastern China yesterday (May 29).
The video, captured in Linyi University, shows the man tipping the koi out onto the lawn when he had intended to release the fish into a lake.
Video shows onlookers picking them up and throwing them into the lake.
According to reports, the koi carp are associated with luck, prosperity and good fortune.
The carp were donated by a fish company.
