Recipe: Easy Chocolate Cupcakes | A Thousand Words

Delicious and easy chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream frosting. Give them a try today and enjoy a chocolatey treat!\r

EASY CHOCOLATE CAKE\r
1 and a half cups of flour (plain flour / all purpose flour / cake flour)\r
1 and a third cups of sugar\r
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa\r
half a cup of butter\r
1 teaspoon vanilla extr\r
3 eggs\r
1 tablespoon baking powder\r
half a cup of milk\r

Beat the butter and sugar together, add the eggs and vanilla, mix in the rest of the ingredients. Bake at 365F / 180C until springy and done (about 16-18 minutes for cupcakes, 30 minutes for a cake, depending on shape of pan). \r

CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM ICING\r
half a cup of butter, softened\r
1 and a half cups of icing sugar\r
a quarter cup of unsweetened cocoa powder\r
a teaspoon of vanilla extr\r
some milk to thin to the right consistency\r
\r
Mix first 4 ingredients together, add a table spoon of milk at a time until you reach the right consistency.\r
