Sharing a recipe for the ever-popular Fried Breadsticks (Dau Chao Quay). These scrumptious breadsticks arent the easiest to make, so in this video, I share my simple recipe plus lots of tips and tricks for guaranteed success. Enjoy!\r

Ingredients:\r

1/2 tsp sugar + 1 heaping tsp Active Dry yeast + 2 Tbsp hot water (100-110 degrees Fahrenheit)\r

2 1/3 cups bread flour\r
2 tsp sugar\r
1 heaping tsp baking powder\r
1 tsp salt\r
3/4 cup warm water\r
\r
1/4 tsp oil to coat the bowl and dough\r
1-2 Tbsp bread flour for rolling the dough\r
\r
5 cups vegetable oil for deep-frying\r
\r
Yields: 8 breadsticks\r
