A man drives through North Haven in Connecticut in the aftermath of the major storm that struck last week, showing downed trees on the road and fallen overhead cables.

The video was filmed just 24 hours after a tornado ripped through Wharton Brook State Park in North Haven, reportedly one of four that touch down in the US state last week.

Two residents died and more than 150,000 homes and businesses were left without power, according to local reports.

Wharton Brook State Park remains closed indefinitely as the cleanup continues from the storm.
