NASA Looks To Create The Coldest Spot In The Universe

According to a report by Mother Nature Network, NASA's next mission will dock an instrument suite to the International Space Station with the goal of creating the coldest spot in the universe. Known as the Cold Atom Laboratory, or CAL, the ice chest-sized box is capable of generating conditions over 100 million times colder than the already icy depths of space.
