Giant wall of sand: Storm shrouds Chinese city in murky yellow dust

A giant wall of sand engulfed northwestern China's Jiuquan City, causing low visibility, on May 20.

Visibility was less than 50 metres and the speed of the sandstorm could compete with a running car, according to local reports.
